Project Description
A memorial bench, commissioned by Broadland District Council, on the site of an WW11 American airfield.
The bench was blast cleaned, hot zinc spray and two pack polyurethane wet paint applied.
The airfield opened in 1943. Designated Station 145, it was used by the USA 8th Air Force 467th Bomb Group, the ‘Rackheath Aggies’, flying B-24 Liberators.
